Envera Health's Patient Access Specialists work collaboratively with several health organizations & doctor offices to schedule patient appointments and provide advanced patient support over the phone. Specialists have experience in healthcare and are able to provide a high-level of support to complex clients.

Patient Access Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of calls a day using a multi-line phone. (80+ calls/shift - Call Center)
  • Work with multiple clients/programs/health systems
  • Schedule appointments for multiple clinical sites according to client-specific protocols.
  • Gather & input patient demographic and insurance information into the practice management system.
  • Report complex clinical issues to the appropriate supervisor/client partner.
  • Document call activity, outcomes, and other notes as needed in the client system.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet the goals and objectives of the department.
  • Assist callers and navigate them to the appropriate resources.
  • Must meet all attendance and performance standards.

The pay scale for this entry-level position is $17 - $21.50 per hour, with Monthly Bonuses based on attendance & performance. New employees start towards the lower hourly rate.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Spanish
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare patient service
  • 1 year of experience handling a high volume of inbound calls
  • Experience using an EMR (Medical Records) and/or scheduling software
  • Excellent communication skills over the phone in Spanish
  • Strong Internet Speed & access to router via Ethernet Cord (Minimum speed: 20mbps Download & 6mbps Upload)
  • Smartphone to use for Two Factor Authentication when logging into systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Call Center experience
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Cerner EMR Experience
This position has a variable shift start time & end time, where the employee may be asked to come in 30mins later or leave 30mins earlier.

This is a remote (work from home) position, with a preference to hire in the following states: AL, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, MT, PA, KY, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI.
